Outsourcing: Plantronics is closing a plant in Dongguan, China, where a majority of Audio Entertainment Group products are manufactured. The move is part of a strategic plan designed to cut fixed costs by outsourcing manufacturing AEG unit to other contract manufacturers it already uses. It will shut down a related Hong Kong office and consolidate procurement, research and development activities in a new Shenzhen, China site.: China
