Financials year financial misdemeanor source 2008 PORTUGAL’S Competition Authority accused six food companies of acting as an illegal cartel, allegedly fixing prices for supplying food and meals to government facilities including hospitals and schools. The cartel’s activities would have cost the state some 172 million euros through price fixing and other market manipulation.
