Tanzania's government cancelled its water distribution contract in Dar es Salaam because Biwater allegedly failed to meet its commitments: no new domestic pipework has been installed, the company has not spent the money it had promised, water quality has declined, and that revenue has decreased. Biwater denied the accusations and filed a case against the Tanzanian government for alleged breach of contract. |
