According to the European Commission, "the companies were appropriate of coordinated increases in price, fixed minimum prices, shared the customers and the markets and exchanged other important and confidential information on the commercial level", between 1977 and 2001. |

Pratique anti-concurrentielle: mise en œuvre d'un cartel sur le marché du fil industriel au Benelux et dans les pays nordiques, entre janvier 1990 et septembre 2001, au Royaume-Uni entre octobre 1990 et septembre 1996, sur le marché européen du fil pour l'automobile entre juin 1998 au 15 mai 2000. Les producteurs de fil ont pris part à des réunions régulières et ont eu des contacts bilatéraux visant à se mettre d'accord sur des hausses de prix/ou des prix cibles, à échanger des informations sensibles sur des barèmes de prix et/ou des prix facturés aux différents clients, et à éviter de pratiquer des prix inférieurs à ceux du fournisseur en place afin de se répartir les clients. La commission a infligé une amende de 43,5 millions d'euros aux producteurs. |
