Trelleborg's French subsidiary is one of several companies being investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice and EU authorities in connection with an alleged cartel involving certain types of marine hoses. Eight executives, including two from Trelleborg's French subsidiary, were arrested in the United States in May and charged with bid-rigging and price-fixing in the market for hoses used to carry oil between tankers and storage facilities. |
