Casino has been fined $3.8 million by the French antitrust regulator for fixing Buena Vista Home Entertainment's home video prices between 1995 and 1998. "BVHE initiated a vertical collusion with retailers Casino and Carrefour," the regulator said, "as well as with wholesale company SDO, aimed at setting the retail price of Disney home videos artificially high." |
