2006Disinformation: In a November 2003 article , in the Journal du Dimanche (JDD), the coordinator of the association against excesses of mobile telephony Priartem mentioned the health risks of the exposure to the antenna-relays (on which there is no scientific consensus) and denounced the practices of the operators. Orange and SFR sued him for slandering and the journalist of the JDD for complicity of slandering.: Libération

2005 La direction générale de la concurrence française a réuni les preuves matérielles d'une entente sur les parts de marché lors de réunions secrètes entre Orange, SFR et Bouygues Télécom. Son rapport d'enquête dénonce un« accord occulte sur une longue période qui vise à geler les parts de marché vis-à-vis des nouveaux clients », ayant abouti à une « très forte inertie des parts de marché » et souligne les « très belles performances économiques et financières » réalisées par les opérateurs grâce à cette entente. Ainsi, une note interne de SFR datant de 2001 et destinée aux dirigeants de la filiale de Vivendi indique : « Michel Bon est OK pour reconduire en 2001 l'accord parts de marché de 2000 », illustré par un tableau. Le patron d'Orange écrit aussi, en 2002 : « Il faut que Bouygues remonte à 20 % de parts de marché. » Selon le rapport, les opérateurs se réunissaient secrètement tous les mois depuis 1997 pour échanger des données confidentielles leur permettant « d'adapter rapidement leur stratégie commerciale à l'évolution du marché. » Lors du raid a été saisi un cahier du patron d'Orange contenant les comptes rendus de ces réunions.
