2006 Telecom Italia SpA was fined 115 mln eur by the state council, the country's highest appeal court, for abusing its dominant position in the corporate market for fixed line services. The decision overrules an appeal made by Telecom Italia with the Lazio region administrative court, which cancelled a 152 mln eur fine imposed by Italy's antitrust authority.     AFX
