Fiat SpA failed to reach an accord with labor unions protesting the transfer of 316 car workers to a site outside its Pomigliano plant in Naples, Il Sole 24 Ore newspaper reported, citing union officials.

Workers held an eight-hour strike at the plant on April 11 and the delivery of goods to the site was blocked from April 12 until April 15, according to the Italian newspaper. Fiat last month told the workers they would be moved to another facility in the port area of Nola from May 3, Il [+]
